Tea Area forced 27 turnovers in a lopsided 68-39 victory over Tri-Valley on Tuesday night. The Titans defense held the Mustangs to five points in the opening quarter and 17 in the first half.

The Titans jumped out to an early 17-5 lead after the first quarter and a 41-17 lead at the half. The first half for the Mustangs was a nightmare, they had no answer for the Titan pressure. They went on nearly a six-minute scoring drought between the first and second quarters before scoring around the 6-minute mark in the second quarter.

The Titans shot 40 percent from the field but the rim wasn't as kind to them from deep only shooting 6-of-27 for 22 percent. The Titans led 57-33 after the third quarter and only allowed six points in the fourth to come away with the 29-point victory.

TURNING POINT: The Titans used an early full-court pressure to force the Mustangs into 27 turnovers throughout the game including a 17-5 run in the first quarter.

KEY PLAY(S): The Titans came out with a great effort on the defensive side. Justin Hohn was the one that ignited the intensity on both sides of the ball.
