The 8-0 Orioles are led by 6’8 Junior William Dunn who leads the team in scoring with 24.9PPG and 12 rebounds a game. I’s easy to see why this team is undefeated. Senior G Jordan Nelson and Senior G Caleb McCavit provide nice senior leadership and can score and rebound as well. Jr. PG Matt Hagaman leads the team in assists. The Orioles finished 18-5 last year and look to improve on that this year.
HANOVER HORTON COMETS – The Comets are 7-0 and their average margin of victory is over 20 points a game. They are lead by 6’4 junior Luc Laketa, 6’4 junior Jack Brockie, 5’9 G Junior Mitch Sauber and 6’2 F senior Donovon Kennedy. They are young but long. Look for them to continue to improve as they get more experience as a team. Look out come playoff time.
MORLEY STANWOOD MOHAWKS –
Callan Dillree (3)They lead the Central State Standings (Silver) with a 8 – 0 record. Their team chemistry is really good and they move the ball around nicely. They are lead by junior Alex Woolworth who put together a 31 point performance to end the year at Kent City. Senior Guard Callan Dillree is a nice all around player. Junior Aiden McLaughlin, senior guard Landon Elenbaas and sophomore forward Carter Veldkamp round out a solid line up for the Mohawks.
NILES BRANDYWINE BOBCATS –
The Bobcats have a One-Two Punch with 6’5 senior center Jaden Croom and junior guard Jordan Abrams. They were both named first-team BCS Athletic Conference All-Red Division last year. Junior Shane Brown is another solid player who brings some offense and defense to the court. They will square up against a tough Howardville Christian for the league title.
