Connor Linke (St. Charles North)
Current Ranking: #46
Travel Team: Illinois Wolves
At 6’9” 215 pounds he can be a legit five at the next level. At times he is a bit mechanical, but Linke displays good footwork and touch in the paint. Defensively and on the boards is probably where he is best at right now. Rim protector with his length.
Frank Jakubicek (Cary Grove)
Current Ranking: #47
Travel Team: Illinois Wolves
This slimmed down four man finishes well around the hoop being very efficient when the ball touches his hands. Solid rebounder and can occasionally hit a mid-range jumper.
Patrick Readye (Belleville Althoff)
Current Ranking: #48
Travel Team: Brad Beal Elite
Readye is a big man that has nice size and strength on the interior. He has a lot of the physical tools you look for in a post player. The big man has gotten in better shape which allows him to get up and down the floor easier. Hook shot is go to. Waiting for him to take that next step.
Brandon Lieb (Deerfield)
Current Ranking: #52
Travel Team: Illinois Wolves
Long and wiry big man that will definitely need to add strength going forward. Offensively he runs the floor with fluidity and displays a soft touch around the rim with skilled moves on the block. Has improved as a rim protector.
Yves Nkomba (La Salette Academy)
Current Ranking: #55
Travel Team: KC Pacers
At 6’10” this big man is one of the tallest prospects in the state. He is all arms and legs! The thing he is best at right now is blocking shots. Good timing and anticipation both coming from the weak side or straight up. Should be a good rebounder. Runs the floor with ease. Still pretty raw offensively.
Sangolay Njie (Whitney Young)
Current Ranking: #56
Travel Team: Team Rose
Njie is a well-built four man that brings a spark to Dolphins with his physicality and energy. The junk yard dog four man also brings it on the defensive end swatting shots and when he plays with energy is a beast defensively.
RJ Ogom (Homewood Flossmoor)
Current Ranking: #57
Travel Team: Meanstreets
Ogom is your classic undersized post that just mauls on the interior. He imposes his will on the game by punishing his opponents with his strength both rebounding and finishing through them.
Keydrian Jones (Collinsville)
Current Ranking: #63
Travel Team: Gateway Illinois
Jones is a wide body inside that takes ups space. For how big the 6’6” post is he is actually fairly mobile. Nimble footwork on the block and likes to play down low.
Colin O’Rourke (Plainfield North)
Current Ranking: #68
Travel Team: Breakaway
O’Rourke is at his best working from mid-range where his jumper is a major threat. Plus shooter from 15 to 18 feet that can also put the ball on the deck. Plus passer.
Marcus Skeete (Waubonsie Valley)
Current Ranking: #79
Travel Team: Hoops Intensity Training
Skeete is a 6’5″ big bodied forward that is nimble and skilled for his size. Passes it very well and rebounds at a nice clip. Versatility to play both inside and outside.
