Seniors step up in the win over Grapevine Faith
’19 Josh Tolbert & ’19 Ben Castro / Prince of Peace
Senior guards Josh Tolbert and Ben Castro are the two best players for Prince of Peace. Against Grapevine Faith the Prince of Peace Eagles we’re outplayed in the first half and found themselves down 13 points at halftime. Castro and Tolbert made it a point to step up offensively in the second half. Tolbert showed the ability to run a team with both his play and his leadership ability. Castro did a great job of finding open spots on the floor and knocking down jumpers from behind the three point line. The heroic effort of the two Seniors was huge in the 57-50 win over Grapevine Faith.
Christian Weddington has good size for position and special athletic ability to go a long with his advanced skill for a player his age. Weddington was sidelined for the first half of the season due to an injury, but is now healthy and looking like a Top 20 state prospect for 2022.
Other Standouts…
