Strengths
Shooting:
Hazelton is a knockdown shooter out to the arc. His mid range game is oustanding.
Driving to the basket:
He’s a straightline driver who uses his body and positioning to keep defenders at bay.
Gets to the free throw line:
Hazelton is an aggressive player and likes physicality. He plays through contact.
Matchup nightmare:
Hazelton can play outside-in or inside-out. He can play and defend multiple positions. If he is covered by a smaller guard, he can post up and score. If he’s covered by a big man, he will pull them out to the perimeter and make plays.
Plays well in transition:
Hazelton makes things happen when running the wing on a fast break.
Improvements
Rebounding:
Hazelton could add being a dominant rebounder to his repertoire. He has the size, strength, and athleticism to make it happen.
Finishing with his left hand:
His already efficient game would improve if he could finish with the left and shield the defender with his right.
