“My role on this team is to just get shots up, shoot the open shot, and get my teammates open,” Perry stated. “I think my ability to create my own shot or get a shot for anyone else is an underrated aspect of my game.”
In a recent win over Wakefield School, Perry recorded 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals while committing just 2 turnovers. College coaches tell him that they like how he can create, defend, and shoot the ball. He is also handling his business off the court, where he holds a 3.4 GPA and a 1220 SAT Score.
“I have some D3’s, Marymount, Hampden-Sydney, Hood College, and Northern Vermont,” said Perry of his recruitment. “Coming in, I can just help my team win offensively and defensively. Just have a positive effect on the team.”
Perry says he doesn’t know where he will go yet, but is hoping to decide by Mid-March. He says that the important factors in his decision are how good the school is academically and whether or not he will play as a freshman. What does he hope to study in college?
“Business or Accounting.”
