Both players would like to be better than 4-8. But they understand the big picture, the development of a program, and that not everyone will have a Hall Of Fame-caliber senior year.
“My biggest thing? Being a leader during senior year and going on to getting a college degree,” Cam told NHR.
At 6-3, Cam is a late-blooming wing averaging more than 9 PPG. He has put up some big rebounding numbers as well, and sees himself as still developing. Some growth spurts along with increased opportunity mean that Cam’s best basketball is likely ahead of him.
“Camryn is an extremely skilled and versatile player,” said Roseville coach Kevin McKenzie. “He can get to the basket, is a willing passer and has improved his outside shot. When Camryn is focused on both ends of the court he is one of the best players in the Metro.”
The schools talking to Cam right now are Northland, Lake Region State juco, and St. Cloud State (presumably as a walk-on candidate).
