They’ll be bringing their talented squads to Grind Region of the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring and summer.
For five years now, former Kansas State standout Will Spradling has been fielding teams, with the goal of sharing his knowledge of the game to a new generation of hoopers.
“I started SSA the year after I finished playing at Kansas State,” Spradling said. “Basketball has been a huge part of my life and I wanted to share everything that I had learned throughout my career to help youth around Kansas excel in the game.”
He added: “Our goal for 2019 is to develop our players to the best of their abilities while giving them the best opportunity for exposure.”
The SSA rosters will be littered with some of the best talent in Kansas. The 16U squad will feature guys like Charles Snyder, Kansas’ 14th-ranked 2021, also CJ Powell, Dawson Zenger and Jack Hutchison. The 17U squad will be led by Manhattan product Chandler Marks. The 15U squad features up-and-comers Ahjany Lee and Nachs Wahwassuck.
“We have played in Prep Hoops events the last two years. The events have been well organized with high level competition and exposure,” said Spradling. “We are excited to be apart of the inaugural year for the Circuit.”
