Prep Hoops 2019 Rankings update: San Diego’s best of the rest
Malcolm Little, 6-3 G Balboa School
Prep Hoops So-Cal doesn’t rank prep school players, but if Little were ranked, the athletic scoring guard be among the top prospects in the class.
Mojus Mojus, 6-3 SG, Balboa School
Little’s backcourt mate is an explosive scorer from midrange and deep. Headed to CSU Fullerton.
CJ Jackson, 6-7 C, Sweetwater
Monster rebounder and interior defender who is starting to evolve offensively.
Roman Wright, 5-10 PG, Rancho Bernardo
Cerebral point guard with good quickness, excellent court vision, an improved improved jumper and dogged defense.
Patrick McLachlan, 6-2 G, Rancho Buena Vista
Smooth combo guard scores it from all three levels and has a lot of upside.
Noah Tumblin, 6-2 G, Mira Mesa
Likely headed to school for football. Otherwise, the wiry combo guard would be a shoo-in for the rankings.
Ricardo Hopping, 6-4 SG, Westview
Stocky shooting guard is automatic when his feet are set, will be a specialist at the next level for Azusa Pacific.
