Region 1
1.Davis
2.Fremont
3.Layton
4.Weber
Davis seems to be cooling down as Fremont seems to be heating up. Layton is well coached and you can’t ignore what Weber has been doing. Should be a battle every game.
Region 2
1.Kearns
2.Granger
3.Cyprus
4.Hillcrest
No disprespect to the region but only one team will survive the 1st round, but miracles could happen.
Region 3
1.Copper Hills
2.Herriman
3.Riverton
4.West Jordan
Copper Hills is a team that could beat anyone but they’re also beatable. Herriman is working on consistency and Riverton is starting to figure things out. West Jordan just has to beat Taylorsville which cold get interesting.
Region 4
1.Pleasant Grove
2.American Fork
3.Lone Peak
4.Bingham/Westlake
The SEC of basketball Region 4. Pleasant Grove simply finds ways to win. American Fork has all the talent in the world to beat anyone at anytime. Lone Peak is finding it’s identity and Bingham and Westlake will battle it out for the last spot.
Region 5
1.Bountiful
2.Woods Cross
3.Farmington
4.Viewmont
Bountiful had an uncharacteristic loss Wasatch and Springville. If they can’t get stops they will be in trouble. Woods Cross and their coaching staff is figuring out there rotations but they look good.
Region 6
1.Olympus
2.Highland
3.East
4.Murray
When Highland host Olympus that game gym will be rocking. This region is getting tougher everyday.
Region 7
1.Timpview
2.Jordan
3.Corner Canyon
4.Brighton
Corner Canyon looks gassed. Jordan is trying to find consistency and Timpview is really solid. We think Brighton could edge out Cottonwood for that last spot.
Region 8
1.Timpanogos
2.Skyridge
3.Maple Mountain
4.Wasatch
Timpanogos is underrated. Skyridge is vulnerable. Maple Mountain is tough and so it Wasatch. Region 8 is probably the most underrated region in 5A.
Region 9
1.Dixie
2.Desert Hills
3.Canyon View
4.Snow Canyon
Although Dixie lost it’s coach and best player they seem to be the team to beat in their region.
Region 10
1.Orem
2.Payson
3.Lehi
4.Mountain View
With or without Puka, Orem is good.
Region 11
1.Juan Diego
2.Bonneville
3.Tooele
4.Ben Lomond
Juan Diego is good as they proved it with a huge win against Bingham.
Region 12
1.Sky View
2.Green Canyon
3.Bear River
4.Ridgeline
Sky View and Green Canyon will battle it out.
Region 13
1.South Summit
2.Morgan
3.Judge Memorial
4.Summit Academy
Region 14
1.Providence Hall
2.Delta
3.Juab
4.Union
PH and Delta should have a great battle.
Region 15
1.Grand
2.South Sevier
3.Emery
4.Manti
Toughest region in 3A
Region 16

It’s LCA and everyone else.

This region has the most question marks as every team has played a soft schedule.
