District 19
Playoff Push:
- College Station (6-0) / 27-1
- A&M Consolidated (5-1) / 20-3
- Rudder (4-2) / 17-9
- Magnolia (4-2) / 8-12
- Pateow (2-4) / 7-16
- Waller (2-4) / 8-13
Ranked Teams:

MVP Candidates:
- Korbin “KJ” Cunningham 6’2 PG / 2019 / Rudder PHTX100 is averaging 21.8 points per game. KJ is a Weber State commit. He gets to the bucket and finishes at an extremely high rate. He moves great without the ball in his hands. Has been shooting the long ball better than he ever has.
District 20
Playoff Push:
- Huntsville 8-0 / 14-10
- Montgomery 5-3 / 12-13
- Lake Creek 5-3 / 10-16
- Willis 5-3 / 10-14
- Tomball 4-4 / 12-12
Ranked Teams:
MVP Candidates:
- Pierce Spencer 6’2 CG / 2020 / Lake Creek is averaging 22.4 points per game. Has been playing point all season for his High School team. Great catch and shoot guard. Moves well without the ball. Has a mean pull up game. He is also showing his facilitating skills this season.
- Jadun McCarty 6’1 PG / 2019 / Huntsville is averaging 20.8 points per game. Didn’t play the first couple of weeks. But has come out solid for his senior season. Gets to the rim with ease. Scores he ball from behind the arc. Plays aggressive on the defensive side of the ball.
District 21
Playoff Push:

- Port Arthur Memorial (5-1) / 18-6
- Nederland (4-1) / 14-9
- Port Neches-Groves (3-3) / 8-9

MVP Candidates:
- Kenneth Lofton Jr. 6’6 CF / 2020 / Port Arthur Memorial is averaging 15.8 points per game and 8.9 rebounds per game. I’ve been impressed with this prospect since July. He has great post skills. Great footwork. Can play either the 3 or 4. Can knock down outside shots. Uses his frame well. Gets up and down the court.
District 22
Playoff Push:
- Galveston Ball (6-0) / 13-8
- Texas City (5-1) / 21-6
- Crosby (4-2) / 15-10
- Goose Creek Memorial (3-3) / 11-12
- Friendswood (3-2) / 12-10
Ranked Teams:
MVP Candidates:
- Kaleb Stewart 6’2 PG / 2021 / Crosby PHTX50 is averaging 17.1 points per game. He is the districts leading scorer. Shoots the long ball well. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Beats his defender off the dribble to get in the lane. Plays solid on ball defense.
- Dayton Booker 5’7 PG / 2019 / Texas City is averaging 11.3 points per game, 3.6 assist per game, and 3.1 steals per game. Pesky defender who plays great on ball defense. Has active hands defensively with great timing to jump passing lanes. Has a quick first step and good handle on the ball.
District 23

- Madison (5-1) / 6-9
- Sterling (4-2) / 9-13
- Austin (3-3) / 13-11
- Milby (2-4) / 7-13

MVP Candidates:
- Corey Nickerson 6’8 CF / 2019 / Sterling is averaging 21.1 points per game and 13.1 rebounds per game. Prospect alert. This unsigned senior is having himself a big year. He is long and athletic. Plays with a good motor. Active on the entire floor. Plays solid defense on the perimeter and down low. He cleans up on the boards. Alters his opponents shots.
- Tim Moore Jr. 6’6 F / 2020 / Madison is averaging 22.3 points per game. Is a solid prospect. Has been displaying more than just his athleticism and above the rim play this year. He’s been knocking down mid range and trey balls. When you mention top verticals he is definitely in the conversation. Defensively he is anchored by his abilities to block everything. His wingspan and speed allows him to play passing lanes effectively.
- Ronald Holmes 6’3 WG / 2021 / Northside is averaging 17.9 points per game. Is having a good sophomore year. He is a physical wing that guards everyone on the court. He has good speed and a quick first step. Solid lateral movement defensively. Has the ability to knock down a trey ball, but drives to the rim where he finishes at a high rate.
District 24

MVP Candidates:
- Bryce Griggs 6’1 G / 2022 / Hightower PHTX25 is averaging 21.7 points per game. This young freshman is an District MVP Candidate. He scores the ball at all three levels. Has good court awareness. Plays with a good motor. He is a tough assignment no matter what grade you are. Plays solid defense. Not afraid to get in the mix to rebound the ball.
- Tyron “PJ” Henry 5’10 PG / 2019 / Shadow Creek PHTX100 is averaging 17.8 points per game and 4.7 assist per game. PJ is committed to Hartford University. He is a shifty guard who is hard to keep in front. Has a high offensive IQ. A true coach on the floor. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Shoots the deep ball and gets to the rim. Plays scrappy defense.
