There are also a lot of players that are 10 or 11 that simply don’t play enough on their teams to get significantly better. When Fedonta White better known as “JB” was in 5th grade he caught the eye of an opposing coach. That coach noticed that he rarely played and that he could help him out. “I was playing for a team here in Santa Fe and I wasn’t really good at all and I was on the bench usually until we played coach Kevin’s team. We beat them and he talked to me after the game he said he noticed me not playing. He told me I should try out for his team becauae I would be a great fit. They where also a team in Albuquerque. Kevin gave me some advanced training and it got me to where I am today. “ Kevin Frey played collegiately at Xavier.
While JB was growing up he had a difficult situation at home as his mom was doing all she could as a mother and father.
Players at all levels always look for ways to get motivated. JB is not only motivated but he strives to be a good man.
“I’ve been threw a lot and I’ve seen my mom struggle my whole life and not having a dad. I wanna see my moms and my grandma happy.”
JB White is a 6’6 G that has a 6’10 wingspan. He plays for Santa Fe High School in New Mexico. He’s averaging 16 PPG for his team that is currently 13-2.
With offers from Utah and New Mexico look for the 2021 G to have a breakout summer.
While watching JB play he is an athlete that can do so much. He has a great handle and impressive IQ at such a young age.
“I’m an all around player. I’m all over the floor. I can bring the ball down and pull up from mid range, I also hit the three and rebound.
I’m not selfish and make everyone around me better. I’m a team player.”
JB displays maturity on and off the court. Having gone through so much he is still able to have great grades.
JB will also play with Exum Elite this Spring and Summer. He will be a great addition to that team.
We wish JB and his team the best going forward.
