He has a nice IQ for the game to be such a young player, he doesn’t back down from any matchup but is under control for the most part. Using his speed, scoring and court vision, he finished with 14 points and 10 Assist on the night, don’t be surprised to see him turning the heads of college coaches.
Hoke County 2021 Guard Jaquantae Harris: He’s a very talented youngster with a nice amount of potential, so far this season he has been playing at a high level and this game was no different. He scored the ball well, knocking down 6 treys and getting into the paint at a pretty solid rate. We are seeing him get more time at the PG spot which we feel is great as this will most likely be the position he plays on the next level.
Pinecrest 2019 Wing Zion Bailey: He brings shooting to the team, knocking down shots from three point land at a high rate is his specialty. The 2nd quarter was where he really caught fire, hitting three treys in that quarter which would give him a total of 4 made treys in the first half.
Hoke County 2020 Forward Tristan Little: Provided some good interior play for the Bucks, he rebounded the ball, scored inside the paint and challenged some shots. There wasn’t a ton of height on either team so he was able to use his size to make a nice impact, finished with 8 Points.
Hoke County 2020 Forward Angel Dean: Another player that made a nice impact for his team from a physicality perspective. Constantly working on the boards, and making things difficult for the oppositions by using his size and strength to defend in the paint.
Pinecrest 2019 Wing Dillon Drennan: Overall a solid showing from him on the night, he was efficient with his play, knocked down shots and was solid defensively. One of the attributes that we really liked about him was how well he moves without the ball, he is constantly making his opponent work when defending him.
Hoke County 2019 Guard Eli Harris: Had an off shooting day but still founds way to be involved with the game through playmaking and defense. It’s always good to see a player that still attempts to find a way to impact the game when their offense is not going and that’s what we got from him.
