Prep Hoops takes a look at some of the 2020 Top Performers played this past Saturday at the North-South 1 A Challenge in Great Falls.

Isayah Owens - High Point Academy (Spartanburg) (pictured on front)

Owens was really on his game here today for the Grizzlies. Owens scored 30 points in a victory over Hemingway HS. Owens a combo guard is quite shifty with the ball and has the ability to create his own shot. Owens knocked down several jumpers on the floor and plays with a great motor. Owens came into the contest after averaging 18.6 ppg and dishing out 5 assists per contest. Owens started off his high school career at Spartanburg HS and last year played at nearby Chapman HS.

Jayden Byrd - High Point Academy (Spartanburg)

Byrd has been a fixture here for the Grizzlies since we first saw him play at Timmonsville HS in a playoff game as a freshman. Byrd 6'1 is a great catch-shoot guy who takes a high percentage of his shots from downtown. Byrd has a quick shot release and deep range on his shot. Byrd finished with 13 points in the victory.
