Here are some games to watch in Class A North Dakota
Bismarck vs. Minot – Tuesday, January 22
Two teams competing for a potential second-place finish in the WDA square off Tuesday as Bismarck and Minot both look to reestablish some good vibes in the second half of the season. The Magicians had a rough week, losing to Bismarck Century, Mandan and Jamestown but have a chance to earn a quality win over the Demons. Bismarck’s eight-game winning streak came to a halt Saturday as the Demons lost to Bismarck Century as well. It should be a great matchup of high-scoring guards as Joe Jahner (BHS) and Jaxon Gunville (MHS) are among the best in the state.
Fargo Davies vs. Fargo North – Tuesday, January 22
Two of the best offensive teams face off Tuesday as Davies hosts Fargo North. If you like high-octane scoring guards, this one should be fun as two of the top scorers in Braeton Motschenbacher of Davies and Cayden Rickard of North face off. The Eagles are the superior team and have more guys capable of breaking open a game but the Spartans can certainly put a scare into people with their scoring ability.
Wahpeton vs. West Fargo – Thursday, Jan. 26
Two teams fighting for positioning in the middle class of the EDC, West Fargo heads to Wahpeton to face the 6-5 Huskies. The Packers beat the Huskies by 15 early in the season but Wahpeton has gone 5-1 in its last six games. This one should be more competitive than that one.
