Jett Fortuny (Cary HS)–Strong shooting ability; fundamentally sound; high basketball IQ; really high character kid; also has a preferred walk-on spot at Arizona State, WCU and Nevada.
Seth Bennett (Charlotte Christian)-One of the best available shooters in the state; gets his shot off quickly; does a good job of moving without the ball; above average passing ability; quick release; stays under control; has a high basketball IQ; doesn’t force anything.
Shamman Artis (North Mecklenburg)-Good in transition; very athletic; quick with the ball; good defender; blue in the open floor; all over the floor; lean; plays hard every play; I like his instincts; sometimes gambles a little too much;
Cartier Jernigan (West Charlotte)-Plays very hard, good at keeping defender on his hip and getting into the lane where he either finishes or finds the open man, good shooter from outside, can knock down shots from all points on the floor, tough, hard-nosed player. One of the best on-ball defenders in the area.
KJ Marshall (Trinity Christian)-Third year competing at the 17U level and he is ready to show what he can do against his class. KJ is a true pg that makes the right play and puts his teammates in situations to be effective and productive at all times. Marshall has a balanced game that allows him to score at all three levels, and the ability to defend the ball 94 ft. Size is not an issue for Marshall on either end of the floor.
Michael Green (Myrtle Beach Christian)-Shooter; good size; moves well without the ball; lefty; has an edge in his attitude; really strong shot form; good finisher; tough; swagger to game; talks on defense; can play either guard position; really good passing ability; smart; high basketball IQ; crafty passer; really understands the spacing and where to be on the floor; very vocal; high motor; good defender; looks for shot if not there he is attacking or finding the right pass; above average ball-handle; doesn’t make many mistakes
