NLCA 2020 Guard Reggie Walton: One of the better two way performances that we saw from him this season. He was aggressive scoring the ball, attacking the paint which led him to finish with 16 points but he was even more impressive on the defensive end of the court. Whether it was applying pressure to opponents or playing the passing lanes, he got after it and finished with 9 steals.
Wilson Prep 2019 Forward Righteous Tomlin: A double/double type of player he gets it done on the boards and scores it well by using his high motor. He finished with 21 Points & 10 Rebounds, although his shot selection wasn’t the greatest, the energy and athletic ability that he brings is something you have to love.
NLCA 2020 Wing Reggie Raynor: He didn’t have a great shooting day but still made a decent impact on the game with his ability to rebound and make plays above the rim. Staying aggressive and not settling for the outside shot is key for him, when he’s attacking he is a much more efficient player.
Wilson Prep 2019 Guard Tyronne Whitaker: He scored 16 points on the night, but put together a flurry of buckets at the beginning of the 3rd quarter with 10 straight points. He plays the game with a confidence and a swagger that you have to like and he doesn’t back down from any challenge.
NLCA 2019 Forward Jalen Love: One of the better performances that we saw from Jalen this season, he did a nice job of playing within the team and not trying to overdo anything. Rebounding, running the floor and finishing inside as well as knocking down a midrange shot were all on display from him.
NLCA 2020 Forward Jeremyah McWilliams: With such a calm and quiet demeanor, he is one that you can forget about if you’re not careful. However overall he had a nice showing and was efficient for the most part, he scored inside the paint, defended his position well and defended without fouling.
Wilson Prep 2021 Forward Nasir Blackston: He has the potential to be a very solid player, decent size already and nice athletic ability. The next step for him will be playing the game at the pace he is comfortable with instead of allowing people to speed his game up.
