Jalen Suggs, Jr., Minnehaha
Suggs has been a known big-timer for a while now but after something of a weird sophomore year where he wasn’t always dominant, he’s turned it on this year, averaging 24 points per game while contributing on the glass and as a facilitator. He’s terrific when it comes to getting to the foul line and his range makes him a threat to go off on any given night.
Noah King, Jr, Caledonia
King’s taken on a lot more offensive responsibility this year and his scoring is a bit down because he’s been put in more facilitating roles now. He’s still one of the best in the state, averaging 18 points per game while providing strong play on the defensive end of the floor and as an inside-outside scorer.
Tyrell Terry, Sr., DeLaSalle
The best point guard in the 2019 class, Terry has been terrific since returning from injury, averaging 26 points per game and providing a presence on both ends of the floor. He’s picked up his scoring in a big way in his senior season.
Eli Campbell Jr., Sr., Minneapolis North
Campbell has been excellent in his senior season, averaging better than 16 points per game and providing big shots in big moments for the Polars. He’s a bulldog of a defender on the perimeter and he’s been the most consistent scorer on a team that sometimes struggles to generate halfcourt offense.
Jamison Battle, Sr., DeLaSalle
Battle started the year on an absolute tear before missing a few games with an injury. He’s since returned and hasn’t needed to put up huge numbers. He’s still averaging better than 24 points per game and his ability to dominate inside while also being able to step away and make plays off the dribble make him a matchup nightmare.
Eli King, Fresh., Caledonia
One of the best underclassmen in the state, King is one of the best pure shooters around and as he’s grown, his game has become more well-rounded. He’s a pest on the defensive end of the floor and he’s becoming more active in others areas of the game.
Chet Holmgren, Soph., Minnehaha
Another hot name on the national level, Holmgren just continues to get better and better the more he plays. He’s obviously got great size but as he gets stronger, he’ll be an even bigger force. The sophomore 7-footer is averaging 18 points per game while providing elite-level defense in the paint.
Davon Townley Jr., Soph., Minneapolis North
An impact interior player, Townley’s athleticism, motor and budding skillset make him a really intriguing prospect down the road. But for right now, he’s a productive player in the paint for a team that doesn’t have much beef inside. His defensive play is incredibly important too as it allows the guards to apply their typical high-energy pressure.
Luke Schwartzhoff, Jr., La Crescent
Schwartzhoff is one of the best bigs in southern Minnesota and his play has gotten better and better as he’s gotten more experienced. The 6-foot-7 junior is averaging better than 14 points per game thanks to a solid skillset and soft touch.
Nasir El-Amin, Sr., Minneapolis North
Another senior guard who has picked up his play to start the year. El-Amin’s been a consistent player at the varsity level for a while but he’s been very good this season. He’s an excellent slasher and very good at pushing the pace and his on-ball defense is a big key for the Polars’ attack.
Zach Todd, Jr., La Crescent
Todd is the go-to perimeter scoring option for the Lancers, averaging 14 points per game. His scoring has gone down a bit as the Lancers have hit the meat of the conference schedule but his ability to score from all three levels is a big key for La Crescent’s success.

Prince Aligbe, Fresh, Minnehaha
Riley Gavin, Sr., Caledonia
Kaden Johnson, Sr., Minnehaha
Thomas Kiesau, Sr., La Crescent
Josh Hodges, Sr., Minneapolis North
