MSL-Ohio Top Teams:
1. Whitehall 7-5 3-1
Whitehall has been solid to date. With good wins over Worthington Christian and Bexley. The Rams sit atop the Mid-State League nicely, despite the worse overall record. With some tough out of conference matchup, that won’t change. Still yet to play Gahanna, Columbus Academy and Reynoldsburg, the Rams have a tough remaining schedule. Whitehall will need to rely on the duo of Royal Sibley and Taylon Cofer, as they both average around 11 PPG as their main contributors.
2. Columbus academy 9-3 2-1
Columbus Academy depends on majority of its scoring and leadership from three seniors. Chris Boyle, Dalyn Decree and Dorrian Moultrie all score in double figures for Columbus Academy. With a 9-3 record, Academy has had tough losses to Worthington Christian and Fairfield Union, both by less then five points. Just a half game back in the standings, Columbus Academy still plays every conference team once. If the Vikings want to take the MSL-Ohio division, they’ll need to finish on a strong note.
3. Worthington Christian 10-4 2-3
Worthington Christian is still in a good place behind stud freshman DJ Moore who is putting up over 18 points a game. He and Derrick Hardin lead the 10-4 Worthington Christian team as primary producers. The Warriors are yet to face the toughest stretch of their schedule, where they face Columbus Academy, Whitehall, Johnstown and Bexley. It will be interesting to see what damage the Warriors can do to finish the season.

4 .Bexley 10-5 2-3
Senior Ryan Callahan has led Bexley to a 10-5 record. Callahan is averaging over 14 PPG to lead the Lions. Still in prime position in conference is Bexley. However, with a tough couple losses to Whitehall, the Lions have some ground to make up. With solid wins over Worthington Christian and St. Charles, the Lions are plenty capable. To finish the season notable big games for Bexley will include Columbus Academy, Grandview and Worthington Christian. The Lions will look to finish the rest of the season on a strong note.
5. Grandview Heights 8-5 2-3
Grandview Heights has missed their big time contributor Luke Lachey for a good part of the season, but now that he’s back. The other part of their dynamic-duo, Brian Collier, has gotten things done. The junior guard is putting up 18 PPG for his team. Sophomore Manny Day has also picked up a lot of the slack, he’s contributing a tough 15.3 PPG. The next two games will be big for Grandview, defeating Bexley and Whitehall would be huge for the Bobcats.
