MOAC:
Clear Fork 10-2 (7-0)
Clear Fork has basically ran through the MOAC up to this date. At the halfway mark they’re sitting at 7-0 in conference. The Colts have defeated the other top teams in the conference pretty handily, as they look to run away with it. Clear Fork is led by Aj Blubaugh’s leadership, a Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball commit. Also the likes of junior Brennan South pushed the Colts to where they are at this point.
Marion Pleasant 9-2 (5-2)
The Spartans are a good team. Just a couple games back, and already having lost to Clear Fork, they will need some help to gain ground. Led by standout seniors Nick Kimmel, Ethan Warner and Gage Williams Pleasant is well rounded. A good coached team that has led them to 9-2 overall. Undefeated in non-conference play with wins over North Union, Bishop Ready and Elgin to name a few. Marion Pleasant should be a solid D3 team and continue to compete in the MOAC, the second half of the season.
Ontario 6-6 (5-4)
The Joe Balogh coached Warriors have battled through injuries majority of the season. A team led by two sharp-shooting sophomore guards, Griffin Shaver and Kolten Kurtz, should be a lot better in the future. But for now, Ontario competes hard on a nightly basis. It should be interesting to see what Ontario puts together the second half of the season.
Marion Harding 4-7 (4-3)
Marion Harding is a team that lacks that alpha player, but they’re well balanced and have showed spurts of playing solid defense. Led by Junior Mitch Myers, who is good for double-digit points on a nightly basis. Zhamir Anderson is another big contributor, who does a bit of everything. The Presidents have been able to put together an above .500 conference schedule up to date. If Marion Harding can continue to play consistent ball, they could very well up that.
