5 Takeaways:
1. Mansfield Senior Is A Physical Team.
There isn’t a player on the court for the Tygers that won’t body you up and play tough defense right up on you. The likes of Dontavious Burtin and Cam Todd lead the pack of a highly physical and athletic Mansfield Senior team. The guys get up and down the court in a hurry. Also, are noticeably stronger then most teams they play.
2. The Tygers Play Well As A Team.
Led by point guard Quan Hillory, the Tygers are a team with good chemistry. Also with four scorers in double figures, Mansfield Senior shares the ball well. Hillory led the charge with 5 assists. Also, on defense Senior communicates at a high-level, helping force turnovers. Furthermore, I was impressed with how well this team played together Friday night.

Stepping up BIG time for an injured teammate, Roger Merrell went for a career night. 31 points, including seven three-pointers, the Junior couldn’t be stopped. Roger Merrell is a tough player that relies on his quick release, and will let it go from deep. Best off the catch and shoot, the 6’0 guard also got through the lane on occasion. Also, This may be a game that Merrell builds off of.

With 20 points on the night the Senior got it done from all areas. Also, A tough guard that can finish through contact, as well as blow by his defender. Au has a nice release on his jump shot, and deep range. It was nice to see the Rams have a standout player tonight as well.
5. Mansfield Senior and Lexington Will Battle It Out For The OCC Again.
Having lost a tough one to the Minutemen of Lexington just a few days ago, Mansfield Senior looks poised to be where they are. However, The Tygers are still tied atop the conference at 5-1 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference with Lexington. Mansfield has a well balanced offense, that can beat you in multiple ways. Also, a physical quick defense that forces turnovers and can get out and run. But, Led by leading scorer Quan Hillory, fulling expect the Tygers to be ready for round 2 with Lexington.
