Stockrisers:
Brian Collier (6’0 / G 2020 / Grandview Heights):
Brian Collier is a really solid scoring guard. The 6’0 Collier can shoot lights out, as his go to bucket. With his teammate Luke Lachey out, the Junior guard stayed consistent putting up good numbers. But, with six games on the season of scoring 20 or more points, the 6’0 guard has proven the consistency. Having watched Collier quite a few times over the years, he has gotten tougher, tremendously. A scorer that can beat you in just about every way, is one of the best under looked players in the junior class.
Ben Casey (6’3 / WG 2019 / West Jefferson):
Ben Casey has been nothing less then a walking bucket this season for West Jefferson. The Senior is averaging close to 20 PPG. With an elite 34 points against Mechanicsburg early in the season. Casey can score in multiple ways, including getting to the rim. Also, a long armed, lengthy defender, the 6’3 WG has the intangibles to be a good defender. However, Ben Casey is a big reason why West Jefferson is only a two-loss team.
Carter Jones (6’3 / WG 2021 / Centerburg):
One of the better players in the KMAC, is just a sophomore. Jones, had a huge 30 point game against Fredericktown, also 27 against Utica. A high-level scorer already, KMAC is going to have no answer for the sophomore over the next couple years. However, it’ll be interesting to see how far he continues to rise.
Brady Snyder (6’1 / G 2019 / Canal Winchester):
Canal Winchester is 14-0 on the season, and a big part of that is the play of Senior leader, Brady Snyder. Snyder is a tough guard that can put up high-level points. With three games, of 26 or more points, Snyder is a threat to go off any night. Also, Snyder is quick, and is a tough guard that any D3 college would be lucky to get. With some impressive tape, make sure to check out the unsigned senior!
Bilal Sow (6’4 / WF 2020 / Canal Winchester):
Photo Credit: Central Ohio PhotoAnother huge part of Canal Winchester’s success is Bilal Sow. Sow has been a scoring machine for the Indians. Putting up over 20 points in each of his last five games, Bilal has been on a hot steak, including a 30 point outing against Big Walnut. Also, a work horse that has the traits to be a big time defender of more then one position. The junior is physically imposing to many teams he faces. However, JUCO’s and D3s should be in on the 6’4 wing-forward, a player that I believe still has another level to his game. Averaging 16 a game for the Trojans, the Sophomore has been consistent in the box score.
