Ben Roderick (6’5 / W/F / Olentangy Liberty): One of the best players in Central Ohio, and the top unsigned senior is a bucket at anytime. Coming back from a tough injury as well. The tall 6’5 frame Roderick is crafty to the hoop, and can shoot it from deep at a good clip. A player that can fill it up at any given time. The stud Roderick has a huge 51 point game this season. High majors with an open scholarship spot should undoubtedly take a look at the Patriot star.
Morgan Safford(6’3 / G / Bishop Hartley): One of my favorite players around, is having another good season. Having watched Safford mostly on the AAU grounds, has impressed me. This high season Safford has been one of the best around. Leading Hartley with about 21 a game, as a tough scoring guard. With the ability to shoot off the dribble, or get through the lane at a high-level. The top division two programs should be in on Morgan Safford, another unsigned senior.
Uriah Schwemley (6’3 / G / Shelby): A good three sport athlete, Uriah is a force on the hardwood. Averaging about 15 a game for the injury-ridden Whippets. Uriah is quick north to south, with a good handle to the ball. The ability to get through contact to the hoop at a good rate. Quick hands in the passing lane helps the Shelby lead guard to many easy layups. One of the better multi-sport athletes around.
Owen Hazelbaker (6’7 / F / Johnstown): Committed to a good D2 power in West Liberty, Owen has been tearing it up on the court this season. A huge 35 point game against Watkins Memorial, Hazelbaker is averaging around 18 a game. With big size the ability to be a force on the boards and defense. Not the flashiest scorer, but can get it done from inside and out. A player to watch how he finishes his prep career on a solid Johnstown squad.
AJ Kenney (6’5 / F / River Valley): One of the better players in the MOAC, averaging about 18 a game. A double-double machine on a nightly basis, with a big 6’5 frame, is not often out rebounded. A smooth touch inside, with solid post moves on the block is the senior Vikings go to. Kenney can also step out and hit it from deep when the opportunity arises. Division 3 colleges should be taking a look.
