Of course the big names attract attention, but kids that are working hard for an opportunity, are starting to see the fruits of their labors. Take a look at the latest in Alabama high school recruiting news.
Indrek Sunelik (Nation Prep): The 6’7 2019 wing recently took an unofficial visit to Georgetown. Sunelik’s shooting efficiency, length, and high IQ play has really turned heads. Illinois State also remains in constant contact with Sunelik.
Malik Tyson (Sparkman): Tennessee Tech was at a recent Sparkman game, and Malik did not disappoint. Tyson is a 2019 prospect who has excellent size, skill, and the toughness needed to play at the D1 level.
Micah Fallin (Cleveland): Fallin (2019) recently committed to Roane State. Roane St plays in the NJCAA Region 7. Micah has solid size at 6’2 to play both guard spots, and the athleticism to compete with anyone on the court. The future is bright for Fallin.
Jeremiah Hurst (McAdory): The 6’3 2019 wing picked up an offer from Iowa Central CC. Hurst is athletic and a very active defender. Jeremiah is definitely a player JUCO programs should contact.
BJ Comer (PCA): Comer’s recruiting has been all over the map, which is not a bad thing. Furman, Gardner Webb, and Stetson have expressed interest in the 2019 point guard. Recently, Comer took a visit to Columbia State CC in Tennessee. We expect Comer to be off the board after the season.
Colby Jones (Mountain Brook): Jones recently took an unofficial visit to Western Kentucky. Jones is one of the top 2020 prospects in the state. Jones is poised to have a big finish to the season. Colby is a MM level prospect and will pick up more offers through AAU season.
Paul Stramaglia (Mountain Brook): The 2020 point guard had a home visit from Southeastern Louisiana and picked up an offer. Paul is one of the best true point guards in the state. Through AAU season, Stramaglia will see more offers come his way.
Jayden Stone (Sacred Heart): The ESPN Top 60 prospect recently took an unofficial to Auburn for the Kentucky game. Stone also picked up a recent offer from UNLV. Jayden is Power 5 prospect and the battle for his commitment is just getting started.
Austin Harvell (East Limestone): Harvell is another 2020 prospect that took an unofficial to Auburn over the weekend for the Kentucky game. Ole Miss has made several recent visits to East Limestone. Harvell is a 6’6 wing who is just scratching the surface of his potential.
Dallas Howell (Enterprise): The 2020 forward was also at Auburn over the weekend. Auburn has made a clear decision to focus on state talent. Howell’s offensive versatility and defensive IQ has made him a surefire HM level prospect.
Trinity Bell (Albertville): The 2021 forward is one of the best in his class. Getting involved early in his recruitment will be crucial. Bell is naturally talented and will only get better. We expect Bell to have a big time finish to the season.
