SF Scottie Lewis (Ranney, NJ – 2019)
This Florida commit showed a national audience why he is such a highly regarded prospect. Super athletic wing that is an elite wing defender. Shut down McDaniels in the first half. Despite not scoring much early he was so impactful with his defense and passing. In the second half the jumper started falling. Lewis dispayed his ability to create his own shot drilling jumpers all over the floor. 26 points on 9-14 shooting.
SF Bryan Antoine (Ranney, NJ – 2019)
Antoine is going to be an impact player from day one at Villanova. Tremendous size, strength, and athletic gifts. Powerful wing that slashes to the hoop with a burst. Attacked downhill all day long! Struggled from deep, but when going to the hoop he was unguardable. He had 23 points.
PF Jaden McDaniels (Federal Way, WA – 2019)
Bit of a quiet game out of the top 10 prospect. Considerable upside with his size and skill level. He ended up with a double double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, but he shot only 4-19 from the field. Never got in a flow all day.
F Tari Eason (Federal Way, WA – 2019)
Eason was actually the most productive player for the Washington squad. Long and athletic forward who played with a high motor. Grabbed nine offensive boards and a lot of his points came off second chance opportunities. He had 17 points and 12 rebounds.
PF Evan Mobley (Rancho Christian, CA – 2020)
Mobley is trending as the top junior prospect nationally. Legit size, length, athleticism, and skill. Very projectable long term. Quick in the paint and finishes with dunks in traffic. Rebounds very well and will be even better as he adds strength. Mobility and offensive skill are just so impressive. His stat line was 16 points and 13 rebounds.
PF Isaiah Mosley (Rancho Christian, CA – 2019)
Wasn’t the best game for the USC commit, but there is no denying his potential. Elite passing post that sees the floor like a point guard. Bullet passes for assists. Rebounded well in his area. Mosley had 6 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 dimes.
SG Cassius Stanley (Sierra Canyon, CA – 2019)
Stanley is an elite level athlete who is among the top available wings on the board. Volume scorer who actually shot it very well from three in this game. Silky smooth release with elevation off the floor. Slashes to the rim with acrobatic finishes. He went for 25 points.
PG Justin Moore (Dematha, MD – 2019)
This Villanova commit did everything he could to keep Dematha in the game. Moore is a crafty scoring point guard. Uses floaters, runners, and scoop shots. Also hit a pair of threes. He had 17 points.
F Keion Brooks (La Lumiere, IN – 2019)
Brooks is one of the best uncommitted prospects available nationally. The versatile forward showed off his complete game. He is a skilled inside-outside combo forward. Good shooter from mid-range that can stretch to three on occassion. Excellent working in the pick and roll as a finisher. Tremendous rim runner. Fights on the glass. The five-star had 25 points.
C Isaiah Stewart (La Lumiere, IN – 2019)
Stewart only scored 14 points, but the top 10 senior made a huge impact on this game. Big and physical center was a wall down low giving Hunter Dickinson fits in the post. Elite post defender. Mauls opponents on the boards ripping the ball out of the air with force. As a scorer he used quick moves on the block, hitting the glass, and running the floor to net his buckets.
PG Wendell Green (La Lumiere, IN – 2020)
Green is a 5’11” quick twitched lead guard. He was dynamic scoring with runners and pull up threes. Crisp handles and controlled the pace of the game. Pushes in the open floor and made sound decisions as a passer. He had 20 points.
PG Sharife Cooper (McEachern, GA – 2020)
Cooper is one of my favorite 2020 prospects. Smaller point guard who reminds me so much of Tyler Ulis. The Georgia lead guard has an off the charts basketball IQ and feel for the game. As a scorer he has a big time pull up shot. Quick handles with speed in transition. Cooper went for 27 points in a win.
SG Isaac Okoro (McEachern, GA – 2019)
The Auburn commit only scored 10 points, but made an impact. Big and physical wing who defends multiple positions. Slasher that gets to the rim with power.
SF Cade Cunningham (Montverde, FL – 2020)
Cunningham is a big and physical small forward that is wired to score! Tremendous feel on the offensive end. Gets downhill with brute force. Great in the mid-range with his pull up jumper. The area he might have been most impressive was with his passing. Consistently found teammates. He had 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 dimes.
SG Harlond Beverly (Montverde, FL – 2019)
Beverly is a Michigan native that we have seen a lot of over the years. Ultra smooth scorer who opened the game drilling three triples. Plus shooter that also brings athleticism and length to the table. Went for 22 points.
C Balsa Koprivica (Montverde, FL – 2019)
Best I have ever seen this Florida State commit play. The seven footer was very active in the paint on the glass. Ran to the rim catching lobs in the pick and roll. He had 18 points and 11 rebounds.
