MJ Warrior Putnam City – West guard
MJ Warrior was limited in scoring by Kingston; so he complimented his team by being everywhere. When I say that, I mean that he gave his team an edge by playing smart, selfless basketball and putting his teammates in the position to score. He found his rhythm in the fourth and had an impact in that area.
Rodrick Hopkins – Carl Albert wing
Rodrick Hopkins is maybe just a hair beloved’s average in height, but still strives to get an edge for the Titans. I was impressed by his speed and tenacity on the defensive end of the floor as well as his tenacity in going up for shots at the rim, even when heavily contested.
Sylus Elliot – Northwest Classen point guard
I have seen Sylus Elliot a few times now for the Northwest Classen Knights, and each time he continues to impress me with his hustle. He is an explosive athlete who hustles to get rebounds, score the bsketball, and make an impact for the Knights’ defense.
Jacob Whipkey – Kingston wing
Jacob Whipkey has been a great glue guy for the Redskins thus far in the season. He played pretty well all-around, especially on defense. He takes smart shots, hits 3-balls from the spot, and does a great job of contesting ball-handlers and keeping guys in front of him.
