With only four seniors on the roster, the team is young and not necessarily experienced so they seem to depend on him heavily. He finished with 16 points on the day, and got to the paint at a pretty high rate.
Riverside-Williamston Senior Guard Ashaun Belcher: Had a big time game scoring wise for his team as he scored 25 Points in their matchup with Beddingfield. He was aggressive to attack the paint, using his upper body strength to finish or draw fouls, was a huge part of the offensive success of their team.
Beddingfield HS Senior Forward Trevon Brantley: Smaller schools that may be looking for some size, should keep an eye on him. He still is somewhat of a project but he showed some flashes of how good he can be, he’s got decent hands, runs the floor and protects the paint at a solid rate.
First Flight HS Senior Guard Reese Jones: Very nice day for Reese overall, he scored and assisted at a nice rate throughout. He scored 19 points, knocking down 5 treys but also put up some impressive assist numbers with 7 dimes on the day.
Riverside-Williamston Senior Guard Zyjuan Exum: You can’t measure what he does for team by just looking at his offensive numbers. The reason why? Because he makes more of an impact on the defensive end of the floor and with how hard he plays the game. He is one of those players that you know if you’re matched up with him, he’s going to make things difficult.
Jack Britt HS Senior Guard Bradon Hayden: As the year goes on, he seems to get better and more comfortable with his role. He can be a 15 points, 8 Assist per game type of player on a regular basis when he’s playing with confidence and under control.
