Jaylen Boyd 6’1″ Ladue (’20) – The crafty point guard scored a game high 21 points in the loss to Jennings. He also had 20 points and sparked a big rally in the Rams’ first-round victory over Kirkwood. He is a slashing point guard who can get to the basket and score and a variety of different angles. He does a nice job of changing speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance. His 3-point shot has improved as well.
Evan Schneider 6’6″ Ladue (’20) – A rugged young post player who is a very effective offensive player in the paint. He does an excellent job of establishing his position inside, especially in the high-low sets that Ladue likes to run. He catches the ball and finishes well in traffic. He also has a very nice jump hook that he can go to. He will also step out and knock down a 15 footer from the high post.
Trevon Love 6’0″ Jennings (’21) – A talented young point guard who has a bright future with the Warriors. He has good quickness and ball handling ability to get into the lane to compromise the opposing defense. He can score at the rim, but he is better and knocking down the pull up jumpers and floaters in the lane.
Demarion Shanklin 6’2″ Jennings (’21) – A smooth lefty combo guard who has the ability to get buckets. He is a valuable offensive weapon who comes off the bench for the Warriors. He does an excellent job of getting in the lane and hitting the 10-12 foot pull up jumper, plus he also knocked down an open corner 3-pointer.
Nate Parker 6’3′ Eureka (’21) – A very solid young wing player who plays a nice complimentary role at this point of his career. He moves well without the ball and can hit the corner 3-pointer very effectively. He is a good ball handler and passer who keep the ball moving and gets to the right spots on the floor.
