1. Landon Wallace, 5-10, G, Conifer, 2020, 9.6 apg
Coming in at No. 1 on this list, Wallace excels at pretty much everything but 3-point shooting and shot blocking. So far through 16 games of his junior season, Wallace is averaging 9.6 assists, 10.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.2 steals per game. He has eight double-doubles and one triple-double to his credit already and boasts a strong 3.28 assist-to-turnover ratio.
2. Brady Renck, 5-11, G, Longmont, 2019, 7.4 apg
A two-sport standout, Renck is signed to play baseball in college but also gives No. 2-ranked Longmont (defending 4A champs) an aggressive slasher in its lineup. Renck is adept at setting up his teammates with good looks, and recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists against No. 9 Greeley Central on Friday night. The Trojans senior averages 12.0 points and 3.2 steals per game.
3. Quinn Rubin, 5-11, G, Centaurus, 2019, 7.1 apg
The Centaurus boys basketball team has been building towards a resurgent season for years and it has finally arrived courtesy of players like Quinn Rubin. So far this winter, Rubin is averaging 7.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 steals to help the Warriors remain in Class 4A’s top 10 rankings.
4. Bryce McKee, 5-9, G, Coronado, 2019, 6.3 apg
In McKee, Coronado has a point guard with excellent vision who plays with great pace and aggressiveness. At 5-foot-9, McKee is still scoring in double figures while averaging 6.3 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 2.7 steals a night.
5. Dominic Nellis, 5-6, G, Holy Family, 2020, 5.5 apg
The No. 3-ranked Tigers have a pair of players in Kyle Helbig and Tanner Baird who are averaging around 15 points, and Nellis is responsible for at least some of that production. The tough 5-foot-6 point guard has excellent hands on defense and runs the fast break to perfection, averaging 5.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
