2019 6’5 PJ Fuller | Findlay Prep
The success of Findlay Prep comes down to PJ running the show for the Pilots. The TCU commit showed success this past weekend in transition which ultimately leads to what he does best, finishing well above the rim. He went up against 2020 Sharife Cooper and held his own by taking him to the basket and getting different shots he wanted. Defensively, he sat down and guarded whoever was in front of him. He should add a lot of excitement net year in the Big 12.
2020 6’1 Sharife Cooper | McEachern
Sharife showed this weekend why he is in discussion to be the top ranked point guard in the 2020 class. He was simply scoring the basketball whenever and however he wanted. At 6’1 he is slotted in the point guard position but he is known for his scoring. What might have been the most impressive thing that he was doing this weekend was his rebounding. We mentioned how he is 6’1, but he is not afraid to go up and challenge anyone for a rebound.
2019 6’6 Isaac Okoro | McEachern
Isaac did not disappoint while his future college head coach, Bruce Pearl, was in attendance. He had a huge performance Friday night to help knock off Findlay Prep in which he was dominating in the front court. He could not be stopped around the rim and even if he was playing on the perimeter he was hitting down jumpers. Bruce Pearl did a great job locking up one of the best small forwards from the south.
2019 6’9 Isaiah Stewart | La Lumiere
What can’t the 5 star do? That is a legitimate question because as expected he was dominant in the post but also showed that he can shoot the rock from all over the court. He was a dominant rebounder on both sides of the ball and showed why he is 8th in our national rankings. He recently just cut his list to Duke, Kentucky, UNC, Michigan State and Washington. Stewart is ready to be productive at the next level for whatever school he ends up choosing.
2019 6’5 Harlond Beverly | Montverde
Harlond’s name has been mentioned a lot recently due to his late blooming success for the talented Montverde team. He is a 3 and D type of prospect that has shown a lot of success from shooting the ball from deep. You can tell that he loves to get after it on defense as he prides himself on that side of the ball but can also get going fast on offense. A lot of high major schools are showing more and more interest on the 6th man out of Montverde.
2019 6’7 Donta Scott | Imhotep
The Maryland commit displayed toughness and willing to play hard all weekend. With an improved jumper, Scott looks to be playing his best basketball right now which is great news for Maryland fans. Overall, he does everything right for his team and a guy that Mark Turgeon will be able to rely on from day 1 in College Park.
2019 6’3 Grant Sherfield | Sunrise Christian
With all the turmoil going on at UCLA right now, Sherfield can provide a bright spot for Bruin fans if he holds onto his commitment. Sherfield is not afraid to shoot the ball from ample areas on the court and is one of the better decision makers I have seen in a while.
2020 6’7 Terrance Williams | Gonzaga
When Gonzaga is at their best this year, Terrance must be going. He has become the go to guy for Steve Turner’s bunch. Nobody on Bishop Gorman was stopping him down low as he was rebounding on both sides of the ball and powering guys to the basket. He has a lot of toughness and there are simply not a lot of guys that are going to work harder than him.
