There are a lot of talented high school backcourts in the state of Texas. Here are some of the top backcourts below in this article.
’19 Chris Harris & ’19 Tyrese Maxey / South Garland
Harris and Maxey have been playing alongside each other since before high school. The South Garland duo have accomplished a lot of things together as high school teammates, but one of the last things they both want to accomplish is win a state championship.
’19 Ja’Mare Redus & ’19 Ja’Mere Redus / Aldine Eisenhower
The Redus twins are two tough playmaking guards that take pride in their on the ball defense. Ja’Mare and Ja’Mere Redus have been playing very well this season for Aldine Eisenhower.
’20 Mike Miles & ’21 Wade Taylor / Lancaster
Miles and Taylor have been hard to guard for opposing teams. The two Lancaster guards have multiple division 1 offers from the Big 12 and other known conferences. Miles and Taylor are averaging double figures in points and leading the Lancaster Tigers with a 14-2 record.
’20 Braelon Bush, ’19 Jordan Adams & ’19 Devon McCain / Silsbee
Bush, Adams and McCain are trying to accomplish something that few high school players have ever done, and that’s win three state championships. The Silsbee guards will have to get past some tough 4A teams to achieve their goals, but I’m sure that the three talented guards are more than ready for the challenge.
’20 Deuce Guidry & ’20 Tramon Mark / Dickinson
Guidry and Mark are two of the best scoring tandems in the state. They’re fast in transition and know how to create scoring opportunities for themselves and for others.
