We will take a look at 3 players to watch from each Ann Arbor school.
Ann Arbor Huron
Julian Lewis (6’3″, G, 2021)
Lewis is a solid shooter from mid range and from behind the arc. He can shoot effectively off the dribble or the catch. Lewis is a high IQ player who recognizes defenses and sees the court well.
Mike Robinson (6’5″, Wing, 2020)
Robinson has been coming on strong since this summer. He’s an athletic wing with good size. Robinson is a very strong defensive rebounder who can push the ball into transition off the glass.
Devin Womack (6’2″, G, 2021)
Womack is an athletic guard who can create offense. He is a solid perimeter defender who uses good footwork to stay in front of his man.. Womack can put the ball on the floor and help break pressure defense.
Ann Arbor Pioneer
Drew Lowder (6’0″, PG, 2019)
Lowder is one of the most prolific players in Michigan. The Holy Cross commit is explosive off the dribble. He is a high scoring point guard who uses a lightning fast jab step to create space on the offensive end.
Kasean Pryor (6’8″, SF, 2019)
Pryor had a huge grassroots season and is considered a top 20 player in Michigan. Pryor is an excellent shooter who can launch the ball over top of most defenders. His all around game has developed a ton, as he’s become a solid rebounder and defender.
Aiden Wright (6’2″, G, 2019)
Wright is a shooter at heart, but has the ability to score from all 3 levels. He has a reputation as an unselfish workhorse. Wright is a classic student of the game and a solid defender.
Ann Arbor Skyline
Kabir Bergin (6’5″, F, 2020)
Bergin is a versatile prospect. He can score with a lethal mid range jumper when facing the basket, but can also put his back to the basket and score in the paint. Bergin is strong on the glass as well.
DeSean Munson (6’7″, F, 2019)
Munson might be the most vertically explosive athlete in Ann Arbor. He gets off the floor quick and finishes with force. Munson gets up and down the floor with ease and is a rim protector on the defensive end.
Ryan Wade (6’3″, SG, 2019)
Wade is considered a top talent in Michigan and will play at Holy Cross next season. He’s an elite defender who uses his length to clog the passing lanes. Wade is shooter that can easily get hot and change the course of a game.
