Keshawn Williams (Bloom)
Previous Ranking: #14
Current Ranking: #9
You will see a lot of Bloom players on these stock risers list and with good reason. Like most of them Williams was a known name who we were high on coming into the season, but he has continued to raise his level of play. Athletic wing with two way potential at the next level. Showed flashes playing on the ball.
Destin Whitaker (Romeoville)
Previous Ranking: #32
Current Ranking: #22
Whitaker is a plus shooting wing with range out to three. Was mostly a spot up shooter over the summer, but has shown this season there is more to his game. Bouncy athlete that plays above the rim. Had a strong showing in December at the Team Rose Shootout.
Sincere Parker (Rockford East)
Previous Ranking: #34
Current Ranking: #24
Like his length and ability to fill out his 6’3” frame. Usually a quality perimeter shooter. Uses his long strides and athleticism to slash. Plays above the rim. A ton of projectability here.
Jeremiah Williams (St. Laurence)
Previous Ranking: #121
Current Ranking: #25
Williams has posted big numbers at the start of his junior year. Long and lanky wing with plus athleticism. He was good in both games we saw at the Jack Tosh Tournament. Burst with the ball off the bounce, potential as a shooter, and is an underrated passer.
Darius Buford (Bolingbrook)
Previous Ranking: #70
Current Ranking: #40
This combo guard has long arms which makes up for his lack of ideal height. Plus athlete that is very quick twitched. Gets to the rim off the bounce as well as crashes the glass for offensive rebound put backs. Played well in the fall at the PrepHoops Top 250 Camp.
Cameron Doughtery (Naperville Central)
Previous Ranking: #160
Current Ranking: #42
Between his play in the fall at camps and what he done during the first half of the high school season we have seen great growth in this juniors game. The 6’6” small forward is a wing with positional size and some athletic pop. The junior is lethal shooting it especially from mid-range. Quality athlete that can also post up smaller defenders especially when beating them down the floor.
Josiah Palmer (Homewood Flossmoor)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #64
Palmer is a quick twitched and athletic wing that raised his stock in the fall at the Spartz Workout. He is a plus shooter from both mid-range and three. Particularly effective pulling up off the bounce from mid-range.
Lance Mosley (DePaul Prep)
Previous Ranking: #92
Current Ranking: #71
Mosley is a two guard that has always had potential, but we saw him put it all together in a performance at the Hinsdale Central Tournament. Bouncy wing that finishes with athleticism at the rim and is becoming a more consistent outside shooter.
