- Brayden Sebastian, Garrard County – Fresh off a 47 point and 23 rebound performance last night and 38 points and 7 rebounds on Saturday, the 6’3 guard is having a monster season and averaging just under 28 points per game while adding 10.3 rebounds per game. His performances have earned him an offer from Campbellsville University and the attention of other schools.
- Cody Potter, Shelby Valley – One of the stars of the All A last week, Cody has “in the gym range” and a green light to shoot as much as he wants. Averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Bobcats, Potter is making the case that he is one of the best shooters in the state, regardless of class. Making 44% of his 3s and nearly 4 per game, Cody is a high level scorer.
- Luke Morrison, South Oldham – Possibly the best shooter in the state, Morrison is top 8 in the state in scoring with 26 points per game but is also making an absurd 55% of his threes while hitting 4 per game from downtown. Making just shy of 60% of his shots on the season, Luke is one of the most efficient scorers in the state, regardless of class.
- Kale Gaither, Union County – The Sophomore point guard is thriving after his return to Union County after spending his Freshman season at Henderson. Gaither is a crafty scorer but struggles from downtown, where he only makes 31% of his three point attempts. On pace for 2,500+ points in his career, Gaither will end his career as an all time great at Union if he finishes his career there.
- Jaz Johnson, Wolfe County – Johnson is scoring a lot of points this year and leading the team after being a role player as a freshman. The Sophomore is one of the top scorers in Eastern Kentucky at 23.6 points per game and the pace Wolfe plays at allows him to get a lot of shots up. With Johnson and freshman Sawyer Thompson, Wolfe is going to get much better over the next two seasons.
- Jackson Sivills, McCracken County – The 6’6 Wing made his name this summer when he earned several college offers. This season Jackson has gone from third scorer and glue guy to being the man at McCracken County. He is thriving while seeing face guarding and double teams. Putting up several 30 point games this season, Sivills has shown to be worthy of his offers and has stepped up to lead a relatively young Mustangs team.
- Spence Macke, Silver Grove – Yes, Silver Grove is struggling this season. But Macke is thriving in his Senior year. Leading the state in scoring and rebounding as of this week, Macke is headed to play his college ball as a walk-on at West Virginia. After sitting out his Junior year after a transfer, everything seems to be working out for Macke with the Big Trains of Silver Grove.
- Connor Robinson, Clay County – After starting the season 14-0, the Tigers have stumbled lately but Connor continues his high level play and is establishing himself as the top Sophomore in the 13th Region. Inside the top 20 in scoring in the state, Robinson is scoring 23 points per game with 55/39/72 shooting splits and adds 7 rebounds per game.
