The 6’4″, 185-pounder is averaging 24.3 PPG this season for the 13-9 Bears which includes three 30 point outings. He netted 36 points in wins over Monsignor Pace and Somerset Prep.
Largie said his senior season is going well.
“We have a lot of work to improve on and we’re just growing what our identity is,” he told Prep Hoops.
Northern Arizona represents Largie’s lone offer while he’s also generated interest from the likes of UC Riverside and Virginia Military Institute.
“I’m just trying to play my hardest every game and show people I could play at the next level,” he said.
This past summer, Largie suited up for Team Knight. He said the experience helped his overall game.
“The speed and strength you have to play at the next level was really the focus,” Largie said.
In terms of his biggest strengths, Largie pointed to his drive to the basket and will to win.
“My passing is very underrated, I could see the floor very well than others,” he said. “I’m just trying to improve when to make the right decision as a point guard.”
A strong and quick decision maker, Largie can score in bunches and that is quite obvious from his play at the varsity level the past few seasons and his abilities with Team Knight. The college program that lands Largie will be getting a hard worker and someone that can come in right away and compete for minutes. He should find a home by season’s end at the next level.
