Continue ReadingAtlanta, Georgia – The 2019 McDonald All American Nominees for the entire country were released yesterday and over 800 prospects, boys and girls, were nominated from their state to participate in the 2019 McDonalds All American Game that is scheduled to be played on March 27th in Atlanta, Georgia at State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks. The official rosters for this season’s McDonald’s All American Game are expected to be released next Thursday on January 24th on live TV on ESPN’s “The Jump” at 3pm ET.
The state of Georgia has always represented over the last few years in the famous McDonald’s All American Game. Guys like Tony Parker, Shaquille Goodwin, Jaylen Brown, Alterique Gilbert, Kobi Simmons, MJ Walker, Collin Sexton, Wendell Carter Jr., Reggie Perry, and EJ Montgomery have represented the state of Georgia since 2012. The MCDAG is a senior only showcase game that has been played for years and only the best of the best have participated in the past.
This year’s nominations to compete in the 2019 MCDAG include Devin Butts (Stratford Academy/Mississippi State), Jaiden Diamond (South Cobb), Marcus Foster (Drew Charter/Furman), Chase Hunter (Westlake/Clemson), Anthony Edwards (Holy Spirit Prep), Isaac Okoro (McEachern/Auburn), Asher McGee (Drew Charter), Quincy Olivari (Westlake/Rice), Moulaye Sissoko (Lincoln Academy/Dayton), Elias King (Lincoln Academy/Mississippi State), and Marcus Watson (Buford/Oklahoma State).All eleven guys are very talented players and will all be playing division one basketball somewhere next season at the next level.
