Christian Turner / 6’7” / Forward / SGP / 2020
Turner showed his improved athleticism in day 1 of the Whataburger Tournament vs. the number 1 team in the state Mansfield Timberview. Turner is showing that he is more than just a catch and shoot 4 man. He rebounded the ball well and blocked multiple shots on the defensive end.
Keaston Willis / 6’2” / Combo / Sulphur Springs / 2019
Willis has had an outstanding Senior season so far. He has stepped up huge for his Sulphur Springs team especially on the offensive side. Willis and his high school team was matched up against LJ. Cryer and the talented Katy Morton Ranch team. Against Morton Ranch Willis scored the ball in multiple ways. He finished with 28 points and a couple of assists in the 66-60 afternoon win over Morton Ranch.
Sadaidrienne Hall / 6’4” / Forward / Sulphur Springs / 2020
Hall plays hard and with a very high motor, against Katy Morton Ranch, Hall rebounded at a high level and showed toughness to finish around the rim through contact.
Lj Cryer / 6’1” / PG / Katy Morton Ranch / 2020⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cryer is one of the best scorers in the state regardless of class. Against Sulphur Springs he struggled with his jumper early on in the game but showed his speed and change of with the basketball which he used effectively to get by his man at an efficient rate.
Drew Timme / 6’9” / PF / JJ Pearce / 2019 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Timme showed good footwork and ability to score it well on the post despite being double teamed throughout the game. Timme has great feel for the game and is a very good passer for his position.
The Redus Twins are Tough as Nails!
Ja’Mere and Ja’Mare Redus exuded toughness in a game versus 5star Gonzaga Commit Drew Timme and his Richardson JJ Pearce team. The Redus Twins dictated the game on both ends of the floor for their team. Ja’Mare showed everyone who was in attendance why he is division 1 Commit, when he broke down one defender and hit a pull-up jumper over the 5 Star Timme’s Long arms to give his team the 58-56 with seconds remaining in the game. Pearce tried to respond on the other end but wasn’t able to execute.
De’Vion Harmon / 6’1 / PG / Denton Guyer / 2019⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Harmon shot the ball well off the pull up dribble in the first round game against Euless Trinity. Harmon also showed the ability to not get rattled on offense no matter what the defense threw at the four star point guard.
Jalen Wilson / 6’7” / SF / Denton Guyer / 2019⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wilson is a strong driver that is hard to keep out of the lane because of his good first step. He showed the ability to be able to knock jumpers off the catch and he also showed good rebounding ability for position.
Jahmius Ramsey / 6’4” / Combo / Duncanville / 2019⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ramsey is an Elite Athlete that is really explosive in the open court. He was out for blood against Justin Northwest and tried multiple times to attack the lane for strong finishes at the rim. Ramsey also hit multiple three pointers in a big win over 5A Texas Power Northwest High school.
Micah Peavy / 6’7” / Wing / Duncanville / 2020⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Peavy was smooth as the other side of the pillow versus Northwest. He did a great job of finishing around the rim and really showed the ability to get by his man with elite slashing ability.
Avery Anderson / 6’2” / PG / Northwest / 2019 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Anderson has the ball on a string and really knows how to use a combination of crossovers to get by defenders for scoring opportunities. Shot the ball well off the dribble vs. Duncanville.
