Trinity Christian met up with Freedom Christian for a big time matchup that would go into the final moments of the game. Trinity got the win, being led by 2019 Forward Greg Gantt in scoring with 16 points.
Greene Central got the win over Kinston on Friday night and one of the reasons was UNCW Signee Imajae Dodd. Dodd finished with 17 points on the night, his presence in the paint is something that can truly impact a game as he blocks and alters shots at a high rate.
Freedom Christian 2020 Forward Aymeric Toussaint finished with 20 points on the night, the 6’9 Junior has a nice skillset and good upside overall.
Northwood Temple 2019 Guard Jamahri Harvey scored 29 points in their matchup with CFCA on Friday night. Harvey is 6’4 Guard that can score the ball in bunches, he has a nice amount of upside but is still under the radar for many college programs.
Farmville Central 2020 Guard Justin Wright continues to play at a very high level finishing with a stat line of: 32 points, 7 Assist and 4 Rebounds in their win over Northside-Pinetown. Wright has MM offers so far and interest from plenty of D1 programs, has a chance to be special.
Westover HS Senior Guard Tyron George led the team in scoring with 22 Points in a win over Terry Sanford HS. George is a player that we expect a big time season from, he started off his high school career with a D1 offer from SC State and although he hasn’t progressed as quickly as expected, he is still a solid player and prospect.
Liberty Christian 2021 Guard Daymon Beckwith continued his stellar play vs New Bern Christian with 30 points. Daymon is averaging over 23 points per game this season and we are not surprised at all, he plays with an intensity and confidence that you love to see and he is only a sophomore.
Cape Fear Christian Senior Guard EJ Bethea has gotten off to a quick start this season and went for 27 points on the night in an upset win over Northwood Temple. Bethea is about 6’2 with long arms and is averaging about 20 PPG, with multiple 30 point performances on the year.
Village Christian 2020 Guard Zavian Mclean scored 31 points in a loss to East Coweta GA, Mclean hasn’t missed a beat since his transfer to Village. VMI and Citadel are two of the programs that have been keeping close contact with him.
