- Reese Tolley, Butler – Tolley is the Senior leader for one of the best teams in Louisville. Reese is the leading scorer for a team that is very balanced in the scoring department. More importantly, the guard knows how to play defense and is capable of stopping some of the best scorers in the city of Louisville.
- Rodriguez Thomas, Paducah Tilghman – A point guard who is likely more of a combo at the next level, Thomas is averaging 15 points per game while shooting 46% from behind the three point line. As a guard, Thomas is also second on the team in rebounding at just shy of 5 rebounds per game.
- TaQuan Hollowell, University Heights – Fellow Seniors Drew McGowan and KyKy Tandy get more attention but Hollowell is the glue that keeps the team together. TaQuan only averages 9 points and 4 rebounds per game so his stats don’t pop out at you but if you watch a UHA game you can see the impact he has on the game.
- John Tillman, Frankfort – If I’m a small college looking for a post player, I’d be headed to Frankfort. Averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds per game, Tillman’s numbers are actually a little down this season but he’s a solid small school post player who could make an impact at the NAIA level in the future.
- Richard Ninamou, Seneca – A hyper-competitive athlete, Ninamou is long and bouncy with a developing perimeter game. He could be an elite level defender if a coach needed one. He has all the tools to make an impact in college on both ends of the floor.
- Dakota Walden, Daviess County – After being the only Junior in the rotation last season, Walden has had a breakout start to his Senior year. Walden is averaging just shy of 30 points per game and has had multiple games of 30+ points. Schools looking for a shooter need to get to Owensboro to check Walden out.
- Glenn Covington, Scott County – His path is likely on the football field but I think Covington is a better basketball prospect. Glenn is SUPER athletic and is already seeing an increased scoring load with Michael Moreno out for the next month. Glenn just went 6/9 from three on his way to 31 points the other night.
- Walter Johnson, Ballard – After a transfer from Trinity, Johnson is having a big Senior year for the Bruins. Shooting 43% from three and averaging 20 points per game, Johnson is thriving as the focal point of the Ballard offense after being a role player at Trinity. Schools looking for a shooter who can play on the ball as well need to head to Louisville and see Walter.
