Javaunte Hawkins 5’11” Lee’s Summit North (’19) – The talented senior guard led the Broncos to the championship of the Phog Allen Tournament. He scored 45 points against Truman in the semifinals, then followed up with 44 points in the championship game against William Chrisman. He is an excellent bucket-getter with 3-point range and the ability to get his own shot.
Trent Champagne 6’3″ St. Charles West (’19) – Champagne averaged 27 points a game in leading the Warriors to the championship of the MICDS Tip-Off Tournament last week. He scored a game-high 30 points in the championship game against Lift for Life in the Warriors’ 62-47 victory. He also scored 24 points against Westminster and 29 points against Francis Howell Central.
Aminu Mohommed 6’5″ Greenwood (’21) – The talented transfer from Washington, D.C. led the Blue Jays to the Pierce City Championship. He started off the tournament by scoring 44 points in the first game against Purdy. He also scored 25 points against East Newton and 31 points against Billings in the championship game.
Devion Harris 6’6″ Parkway Central (’20) – The junior forward led the Colts to a 3-0 record and the championship of the Gerald Linneman Tip-Off Classic. In the final game, Harris had 31 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks in a victory over Parkway North. He added 18 points, nine rebounds and two blocks against Parkway West and 21 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks against Parkway South.
Daniel Abreu 6’5″ Willard (’20) – The versatile combo forward averaged 27 points a game to lead Willard to the championship of the Tri-State Classic. He scored a game-high 30 points in the final game in a victory over Heritage in the championship game.. Abreu led Willard to a Class 5 district championship a year ago.
Hunter Burks 6’2″ Fordland (’21)- The senior guard was the Most Valuable Player of the Fordland Tournament after leading the Eagles to the tournament championship. Burks averaged 25 points a game in the tournament, including a high of 31 points in a victory over Chadwick.
Jeramy Shaw 6’4″ Valley Park (’19) – The athletic combo guard averaged 34 points, 17 rebounds and four assists a game in leading the Hawks to a runner-up finish at the Valley Park Tournament. His biggest night came in the semifinals when he had 44 points, 20 rebounds and five steals in a 64-63 victory over Brentwood.
Jacob Shoemaker 5’11” Oran (’19) – The four-year starter led the Eagles to the championship of the Oran Invitational Tournament last week. Shoemaker really exploded in the semifinals when he scored 48 points in a victory over Kelly. He added a game-high 19 points in the victory over Scott County Central in the championship game.
