Nick Ongenade 2019 Southwest Christian Forward
Ongenade is a super bouncy 6’9 Forward with great agility, athleticism, and aggressiveness. He is not super strong on the block. However, the dawg mentality he brings to the floor takes over in the moments when he is competing for the basketball. The high motor mixed with his height and length is going to be something that helps his recruitment. He projects to the NCAA Division I level.
Tomislav Miholjcic 2019 Southwest Christian Post
The big 6’9 frame of Miholjcic was tough for opposing teams to handle in the paint, Tulsa Memorial was the only team the entire weekend who could match Southwest Christian in size. Miholjcic held his own even against Memorial due to his big frame and active hands. He is not the quickest but does a great job of being aware of where the ball is and bringing it down. The passion he brings to the court is fun to take in.
Kalib Boone 2019 Tulsa Memorial Forward (Signed to Oklahoma State)
Boone is known to be super effective on the boards and was just that all weekend for the Chargers. What was most impressive about the way he attacked the boards was on offense. He got his team going with huge putback jams off the glass. Every opponent this year is going to have a problem trying to slow down Boone on the boards.
Keylan Boone 2019 Tulsa Memorial Wing (Signed to Oklahoma State)
Boone is not the primary rebounder for the Chargers but did a great job of making a strong effort to bring down boards when the opportunities presented themselves. At 6’7 with good athleticism, Boone can snag just about any rebound within reach in high school. He pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds on Thursday night proving when the Chargers need him to step up on the glass he can follow through.
Caden Fry 2022 Collinsville Forward
Fry used his 6’6 frame along with his high motor to be a force on the glass all night. He has some solid hops, which also help him to snag boards. What was most impressive was the consistent energy he was able to bring throughout the entire game. There was never a drop off from the first quarter versus the fourth quarter.
