I know Christmas is over, but it still feels like Christmas. There have been so many good games to open the holiday tournaments. Every day, new names pop up with big time performances. This article looks some of the top performances from the 27th.
Tommy Murr (Lindsey Lane): Murr continues his hot streak with 48 points. He erupted for 27 in the fourth quarter to lead his team over Ardmore.
Kam Woods (Pinson Valley): In a win over Hillcrest-Evergreen, Woods posted 24-6-3 with 4 steals.
Marques McConico Jr (Pinson Valley): Woods’ teammate also showed out with 24 points and 6 boards.
Wren Cole (Danville): Cole continues to impress. The 2020 guard had 29-5-5 in a loss vs Hayden.
KJ Melson (Danville): Melson also had a big night for Danville. He finished with 20 points and 7 assists.
Ty Rawls (Wetumpka): Rawls is a 6’1 guard in the 2020 class. He exploded for 41 points.
Martavius Payton (Georgiana): The 2020 forward continues to turn heads. He finished with 32 and 17.
JD Davidson (Calhoun): In a show down vs Jayden Stone and Sacred Heart, Davidson showed why he is regarded as one of the top two players in the 2021 class. Davidson finished with 23-15-7.
Eric Fuqua Jr (Lauderdale Co): Eric had himself a big night vs Brooks. He finished with 23-5-3.
Dawson Quaye (Greenville): In a tight win vs Blount, Quaye showed out with 20 and 12.
Javion Posey (Greenville): Posey also did not disappoint for Greenville. He finished with 16 and 8.
Jadakiss Anderson (Greenville): Anderson was also a crucial contributor for Greenville. He added 17.
