Our point system is like this: 1-5 for the player draw in terms of exciting talent to be seen, 1-5 for the amount of teams a fan can see in a day at the event, 1-5 for the excitement of the event as a whole. Let’s Go!
PS. If you want a great list to see the dates of when teams are playing and who is playing hit the link below:

TOP TEN HOLIDAY EVENTS
Granite City Classic (14). By far the most teams to see in a day and you can go to two locations to see them! One of the two most traditional events around the holiday season that this state has. Some big names with Michael Foster and Dain Dainja among many many others. The cancelling of today meant a reschedule and a loss of two games but still the best bang for the buck because of the number of teams playing, the tradition of the event, and several talented guys.
Rotary Classic (13). The tradition is top notch and likely number one when it comes to tradition over time. The event is in the Mayo Civic Center which is also outstanding and it’s ran first class. Has 16 teams which is another major plus. You have the draw of local teams not to mention some big names like JM, Mayo, Caledonia, Mahtomedi, Cooper, Lake City, Northfield, and Columbia Heights plus the state’s best player Matthew Hurt is in this.
UST Holiday Event (11). Three days long and it includes not only some contenders like CDH, Wayzata, and STA but also has some up and comers like Eagan and Holy Angels plus traditionally solid Waconia and BSM. Not a tournament but eight games over three days.
Tartan Holiday Event (11). This gets a boost over others because it is four games each day and that pushes an event a head. Also, Tartan, Spring Lake Park, White Bear Lake, Park of CG, and Farmington, these are teams that have people curious and will turn some curious heads. Also, Tartan holds this event every year and you know what you are going to get in how it’s ran.
Eden Prairie Event (10). Only four teams but it’s a very strong four teams with Chaska, Eden Prairie, Edina, and Shakopee. That’s ranked teams or teams that are on the verge all from the southwest metro. Names like Middleton, Katona, Nicholson, Lea, Dobbs, Andrews, Christensen, Hutson, and Bland will draw the curiosity of many.
Augsburg Holiday Classic (10). Six teams at the event, some serious heavyweights in Hopkins and Minnehaha Academy which will lead to a rematch that many should see. There will be some ugly games though.
Hibbing Tournament (9). This is my sleeper event of the year. Eight teams coming to the location from all over the state of Minnesota. Cambridge and Chanhassen are solid metro programs, Owatonna and Duluth East traveling a decent distance, and locals Grand Rapids and Hibbing playing. Good players, solid teams, eight teams competing. Like it.
East Ridge event (8). Four teams with two scheduled games each. The draw is that East Ridge and their talented roster is playing and they will face fellow top ten Eastview in a big time battle. Steven Crowl gets a chance to go against Ben Carlson and prove his worth. New Prague is a big veteran team too. Good bang for your four hour evening buck.
Perham Tournament (8). The gym there is worth half the points and they do things right. Four team event with a couple name times in Morris Area and Perham that each have talent.
Bethel Tournament (7). Bethel always puts on a real good event so that is most the points to begin with. Four teams, two days, scheduled games with Centennial, Roseville, Jefferson, and Armstrong.
