Tea Area Hosts Garretson
Tea Area hosts Garretson tonight at 8 p.m. in Tea. The Titans have taking care of business so far this season going undefeated up to this point in the season. They come into the game ranked No. 1 in Class A.
Garretson hopes to improve off of last years lackluster season. A win tonight will help them turn the ship around in a positive direction.
Preview:
The Titans come into this game as heavy favorites against the Blue Dragons. It’s been a while since the last time Garretson has won against Tea Area. With two Divison I athletes in Justin Hohn and Noah Freidel the Titans have the edge in pretty much every category tonight. The Titans score early and often with plenty of scoring depth on the bench as well. The Titans return all but one starter in Chris Morales from last year, but outside of Kaleb Joffer, they don’t have much help in the post off the bench. Garretson will look to slow the pace down and make Tea Area score in the half court offense. If they do a good job at limiting Tea Area’s athleticism they could keep the score in a reasonable length.
How Garretson could pull off the upset.
The Titans haven’t been the greatest on the defensive side of the ball this season giving up 60 points a game so far. If the Blue Dragons are able to stick around and shoot the ball well they will keep it close in the second half.
Prediction: Tea Area holds an edge in almost everything tonight. Garretson could keep it close early in the game but eventually, the Titans will pull away for a double-digit win.
