1.Great Falls HS (5-0)
The Red Devils hold down the top spot and our led by Kelton Talford (2020).
2.Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS (5-1)
The Trojans lost to North HS the other night and were led in scoring by Marlow Gilmore (2019) with 22 points.
3.High Point Academy HS (4-4)
The Grizzlies have lost to Travelers Rest HS, Blacksburg HS Dorman HS and Byrnes HS this season. The Grizzlies have really upgraded their schedule before region play. Head Coach Marcus Watts has a team that could be on a collision course come this February with Great Falls HS.
4.Ridge Spring-Monetta HS (1-3)
The Trojans made it to the State Championship Game last season before falling to the Hemingway Tigers. The Trojans suffered losses to Blackville-Hilda 59-49 and tonight vs Saluda HS 59-49. The Trojans have lost to Saluda HS in both contests this season. Johnny Freeman and Jerry Tyler our back to lead the Trojans.
5.Hemingway HS (2-2)
The Tigers the defending the back to back state champions are finally getting their team back together. Football player Darius “JuJu” Williams plans on making a football decision on December 19. The one-time East Carolina University commits seems to be looking at Coastal Carolina University and Middle Tennessee State. Darius Taylor is back to lead the show at the point guard spot.
6.Williston-Elko HS (1-2)
The Blue Devils got in the win column this evening with a victory over Branchville 74-61. Desmond Murray (2019) scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
7.Timmonsville (5-4)
The Whirlwinds under new Head Coach Chris Lewis have been led on the floor by seniors Jamaric Morris and Rasheim Lyde
8.North HS (5-2)
The Eagles knocked off Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS the other night by the strong play of Literyian Tyler and Javon Wise. Tyler scored 26 points in the Eagles victory while Wise added 14 points and 18 rebounds.
9.Creek Bridge HS (2-5)
The Warriors lost to Marion tonight. Creek Bridge HS is located in the Gresham area of Marion County.
10.Bethune-Bowman (3-4)
The Mohawks have beaten Lake Marion twice already this season. Braxton Wedgeworth is currently playing in the North-South Football Game this weekend. Jacquez Shuler is a menace in the post for the Mohawks.
Prep Hoops has seen the following teams play so far this season : High Point Academy, Timmonsville HS, Creek Bridge HS
