1.Dorman (6-2)
The Cavaliers have lost to Charlotte (NC) Christian and Oak Hill Academy (VA) this season. The Cavaliers have played without the services of P.J. Hall the #1 player in the 2020 class. Myles Tate the #2 ranked player in the 2020 class went over 1,000 career points last night in a victory over Mauldin HS. Ta’Lon Cooper (Morehead State) and Kamal Desor have really played well with the absence of Hall.
2.Nation Ford HS (6-2)
The Falcons didn’t play well a week ago at the Bojangles’ Bash when Prep Hoops was in the building. The Falcons lost to North Mecklenburg (NC) 80-50 on that day. Prep Hoops will see the Falcons later again this season .
3.Blythewood HS (7-1)
The Bengals have a rematch with defending 4A State Champion Ridge View HS this Friday. Tre Jackson a Iowa State signee was recognized for scoring a 1,000 career points recently.
4.Berkeley HS (4-0)
The Stags have a trio of seniors to keep a eye on in Ishan White, Trevur Smalls and Cameron Fordham. The Stags lost in the 3rd round of the State Playoffs last season.
5.Sumter HS (3-3)
The Gamecocks have lost to city rival Lakewood HS twice already this season. Calvin Felder (Boston College), Jalen Johnson (Newberry) and Omar Croskey our the senior leaders for the Gamecocks.
6.Lexington HS (9-0)
Sharp shooting guard Mason Carver has the Wildcats off to a fast start.
7.River Bluff HS (9-1)
The Gators have only lost to Irmo HS 48-43.
8.Northwestern HS (8-1)
The Trojans could be a surprise to some teams in the Upstate this season. Ashton Parker is a unsung senior on this squad for the Trojans.
9.Spartanburg HS (4-1)
The Vikings looked really good recently in the Farm Bureau at Dorman HS. The Vikings have some good underclassmen in Drayton Watson and Luke Gilsdorf to join senior Sean Jenkins.
10.Fort Mill HS (6-1)
Jacobi Wright is a scoring machine and had 40 points last night vs Chester HS in a 81-45 win. Wright is averaging 22.5 ppg and 5.2 assists this season for the Yellow Jackets.
10. Conway HS (8-0)
The Tigers have been a surprise so far since last season they lost a whole starting lineup to graduation. The Tigers have beaten Wilson HS already and hold a rematch this evening.
