1.Keenan HS (8-0)
The Raiders started the season off winning the Turkey Shootout at West Florence HS with a win over Darlington HS. The Raiders played last week in the Bojangles’ Bash and defeated AC Flora HS. The Raiders have two wins over Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS 78-59 and 54-40 this season. Asanti Price, Dillon Jones, Raekwon Horton and Latrell Taylor lead this talented bunch of Raiders. Jones and Horton recently picked up offers from Charleston Southern University.
2.Ridgeland-Hardeeville HS (6-0)
Rashamel Butler and Devin Butler are back at it here for the Jaguars. The Jaguars did pickup transfer Nygel Boozer this past season. The Jaguars fell in the 3A State Championship Game last season to Southside (Greenville).
3.Georgetown HS (8-1)
The Bulldogs seem to be rolling since a loss to Conway HS in the Georgetown Kraft Credit Union Tourney before Thanksgiving. Darrell Gardner has been very consistent in his play for Head Coach Mike Ford.
4.Manning HS (7-0)
The Monarchs play in the same region with Georgetown HS and Bishop England HS.
5.Edisto HS (6-0)
The Cougars led by veteran Head coach Herman Johnson. The Cougars play Cross HS this coming Friday.
6.Union County HS (6-2)
The Yellow Jackets have some quality wins early on this season.
7.Bishop England HS (6-2)
The Battling Bishops have turned things around since the Heathwood Hall back in November. The Battling Bishops have also lost to Wando HS 45-35. Wando is the biggest school in the Palmetto State. with over 4,000 students. Aidan McCool and Taijon Simmons are the go-to guys on this roster.
8.Southside HS (Greenville) (2-2)
Head Coach Steve Beasley stepped down suddenly and the Tigers have a new coach in James Steadman. RJ Campbell is here for the Tigers roaming the paint. The Tigers have won the past two 3A State Championships.
9.Strom Thurmond HS (6-4)
The Rebels will be heading to Snellville, GA for the holidays to play in the Deep South Classic. Jamarvious Jones scored 26 points the other night vs South Aiken HS.
10.Pelion HS (4-1)
The Panthers crack the Top 10 under Head Coach David Smith.
