Santiam Christian is currently ranked the number one 3A team in the state – and for good reason. The Eagles have size, speed, and balance and on Tuesday night, they put all three of those on display. It was a little ragged at first, but Santiam Christian got things going – and got things going in a big way – and the Eagles cruised to a 83-45 road win over Portland Adventist.

“We had a slow start but we made some adjustments and were able to capitalize on our length,” said Santiam Christian head coach Dennis McLain. “We had a lot of assists tonight as we moved it around and passed it to the open guy. It was a fast paced, transition game and this is a good win for us.”
