Georgetown Preparatory School 97 vs Palmetto Christian Academy 28
This game was ugly from the start and it never got any better for the Eagles. Kendall Chakeris took high honors for the Eagles with 10 points. Zion Russell came off the bench and scored 17 points for Georgetown Preparatory School.
Bullis School (MD) 67 vs Stall HS 32
The hometown Warriors couldn’t get on track from the start with the visitors from Potomac, MD. Jalen Bailey led the way with 15 points, Seth Rivers added 6 points and Romello Grant managed just 4 points.
Goose Creek HS 69 vs First Baptist School 64 Overtime
The best game of the day when Prep Hoops was in attendance. Travelle Simmons had a great game for the Gators and scored 20 points and added 11 rebounds. Alonzo Ford was clutch all day long for the Gators with 19 points off the bench. Jamel McGowan added 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Michel Dukes took high honors in the game with 24 points for the Hurricanes. Joe Powell added 14 points in the defeat.
Saint John’s College (MD) 74 vs James Island Charter 35
Saints John’s took a 36-19 halftime lead on the Trojans. Ishmael Leggett guided the winners with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Darius Maddox was the only other player in double figures with 10 points.
The Trojans were playing without Bailey Wiseman (sick), Jaden Scott went down with a injury at the 14:41 mark of the 2nd half. DJ Vinson scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the loss, Lawton Davis added 8 points in the loss.
Roswell HS (GA) 63 vs Pinewood Preparatory 32 – Left after this game for the Modie Risher Tourney.
Cohen Gaskins led Pinewood Prep with 14 points.
Milton HS (GA) 75 vs West Ashley HS 53
Wando HS 33 Providence Day (NC) 24
Braxton Washington scored 8 points and Maliek Brown added 6 points in the Warriors win.
Cape Fear Academy (NC) 45 Porter Gaud 41
Josiah James scores 24 points in the loss.
