Although Osbourn Park is off to a 3-5 start, the Yellow Jackets have a bright future with junior guard Ethan Wilson. He is showing out early on in his junior campaign, averaging just over 20 points per contest.
Playing more of the two-guard position, Wilson stands at 6-feet and weighs in at 150 lbs, per his NCSA recruiting page. He has shown that he can score many ways, including knocking down jump shots from well beyond the 3-point arc, both off the dribble and in catch-and-shoot situations.
The rising junior is also quite shifty with the ball in his hands, leaving defenders on edge when he’s making a move to the basket.

As he begins to hear from college programs, Wilson recognizes that he needs to improve his distribution skills, making him a prospective all-around point guard rather than just a scorer.
“I think I need to make sure I keep my teammates involved,” Wilson said. “ If we go down by 10, instead of always trying to take over, I need to keep my teammates involved, just in case I need to make that crucial play at the end of the game.”
Over the past summer, Wilson ran with Team Nationals through the AAU circuit and received preliminary interest from Division II and III programs. Additionally, he participated at multiple college camps over the off-season to help get his name out there.
